Extracting natural gas and oil is hazardous business and the group make every effort to ensure the highest levels of safety wherever their staff operate, and this includes their headquarters at Thames Valley, Reading.
The safety team set us a simple challenge: to reinforce a culture where UNSAFE BEHAVIOUR NEVER GOES UNCHALLENGED. The training complemented the Group’s existing programme raising risk awareness entitled “Dare to care”.
Following on-site consultation which gave us an insight of the current culture and practices at the organisation we devised a series of short, hour-long training sessions which were designed to bring the learning to our delegates rather than disrupt their busy days too much by taking them away from their working environment.
Our facilitator and a cast of two actors visited locations across the site and set up theatrical scenes accompanied by a bespoke short film filmed on site which was designed raise the perception and awareness of risk in the workplace.
“You got my attention from the start. Good examples and you took on big topics. It was a refreshing and thought provoking session, thank you.”
“Well presented with a range of tools and outlooks. Short/sharp and precise session. A good use of time.”
