Following the success of previous staff events, Spire Homes – part of the Longhurst Group, challenged Juice Learning to design and deliver another truly exceptional staff conference. The 2012 staff conference needed to celebrate their achievements of the last 11 years and look to the future with an accountable, creative and smart approach.
The event was themed as “an evening at the theatre”, with the title ‘The Show Goes On’. We delivered a creative and compelling combination of interactive activities, documentary style films of Spire residents, and musical theatre which depicted a familiar story of an individual who suffers the break-down of his business and family life and his personal journey to “skid row”.
Guest speaker Kriss Akabusi gave the event an appropriate Olympic theme, and inspired and motivated staff to aim high and embrace a fun-loving culture for continued success.
The event re-connected people with the fundamental purpose of social housing and the life-changing difference their organisation makes It inspired delegates to explore how they could continue to do the great work that they do, to maintain the excellent attitude and dedication they have, whilst also ensuring smarter working in all areas of the business.
“We we're exceptionally happy with the conference and I really don't think it could have gone any better. It felt a very special event. There has certainly been a buzz after the event and the staff feedback is fantastic.
I’d like to say a huge thanks to Juice Learning for helping us to make it go so smoothly as it was a very ambitious project.”
