
Toolbox Talks are company communications that are created centrally, then cascaded throughout the business to staff at all of their sites. As part of a business-wide training initiative Juice was asked to design a programme that gave Team Leaders the communication skills, knowledge and motivation to deliver Toolbox Talks in an engaging and effective way.
Utilizing a cast of five actors and filming on location at one of Lafarge’s many UK quarries, we produced over twenty minutes of HD quality, scripted drama. We were able to build engaging characters, create realistic storylines, and effectively portray good and bad behaviours to enhance employee’s presentation and communication skill sets.
The end product was a provocative broadcast-quality resource that, as well as helping deliver against some challenging learning objectives was visually arresting and highly memorable.
Thanks in no small part to the “Safety Matters” initiative, Nampak Plastics have since gone on to win a ROSPA Gold Award.
