The film was screened at Towergate’s annual conference in Portugal and was required to summarize the careers of two Towergate stalwarts: Peter Cullum and Andy Homer, who were stepping down from running the company. The film is based around a creative combination of interviews with friends and colleagues and tailor-made animation.
Taking inspiration from the animation style of Hanna Barbera, and the recent HBO series ‘The Ricky Gervais Show’, Mark Knight (Creative Director at Juice) created an engaging and effective film featuring a wide range of contributors reminiscing about Peter and Andy.
As they would be the stars of the animated films, the first step was to create animated versions of both Andy and Peter. Juice then filmed interviews with a veritable who’s who of the insurance industry as they recounted their fond and often lighthearted memories of the pair. These interviews were edited into a narrative that gave a brief history of both protagonists’ careers and successes.
Primarily due to the risqué ‘roast’-like nature of the content, the film was only viewed once at the annual conference, and then never seen again. Stills from the film are all that remains…
