Our ‘Free Fall’ film for SSE was one of only two productions to pick up a Gold Medal Award in the Internal Use category at this year’s New York Festivals Television and Film Awards, which took place in Las Vegas on 14th April 2015.
Since 1957, New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films has dedicated itself to creating a brand that stands for creativity and prestige.
The competition honors content in all lengths and forms and celebrates the exceptional and innovative programs being created on all continents. Dedicated to both the Television and Film industries, the Grand Jury members include over 200 directors, producers, journalists, writers, actors, creative directors, art directors, filmmakers, composers and programming executives who are award-winners themselves. They are actively involved in what is being made today around the globe. That mix of perspectives is one of the strengths of the jury process to determine New York Festivals World’s Best TV & Films.
This year entries were received from 50 countries.
Notably the other Gold Medal in the Internal Use category was awarded to The Edge Picture Company’s work for Network Rail, which also won the prestigious Grand Prix at this year’s EVCOM Awards. So we’re in good company!
